I made a vegan cookbook as a book design assignment for a graphic design class.

In order to liven up the cookbook, I used photographs of myself in the Carmel Market of Tel-Aviv, taken by the talented photographer Omer Israeli. 

I played with text alignment, placement and color to give the cookbook a fun look. The name of the book is a play on the words “market” and “shock” in Hebrew, which are spelled the same way. Recipes and food pictures were taken from the internet.
